Lira

Lira is a design research initiative sparked by economic practices observed during times of financial uncertainty in Lebanon. It explores the intersection of economy and domesticity by reimagining standard architectural elements as discreet repositories for storing money. Through this exploration, the project endeavours to translate the structure of the banking system into the architectural framework of the home, contemplating how the home might function as a bank.
